He is survived by : his wife Mary Kae Lehman (Kunz); his children, Greg Lehman (Denise), Steve Lehman (Jenny), Keith Lehman (Gretchen) of Vincennes, IN, Bill Lehman of Urbana, IL, Amy Schroeder (James) and Julie File (Chris); his siblings, Sylvia Grimwood of Evansville, Robert Lehman of Evansville and Dan Lehman (Dosey) of Evansville; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Kelly, Andrew, Casey, Jack, Zachary, Emma, Matthew, Isaac, Noah, Taylor, Lucas, William, Louis, Grace and Samuel. 2017-2023 Tribute Archive. I enjoyed learning fascinating things from him such as art and even a few french words. As the long time patriarch of the Lehman Family, he defined the integrity of family with an unassuming way and a smile or nod that left you feeling loved and appreciated. He had ten grandchildren and countless friends that were like family. This can be witnessed by his unrelenting devotion to his loving wife Betty, 6 children: Thomas Jr. (Kimberly) Lehman (both deceased), Michael (Carol) Lehman, Kathleen (Allan) Noack, Mark (Judy) Lehman, Mary (Robert) Nowinski and Therese (Daniel) Fulgham, 17 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren, that all adoringly could find peace with him, knowing family comes first. We are so sorry for your loss, prayers to your family during this difficult time. Tom was dedicated to his family and his beloved Phoebe. Tom was predeceased by his parents, his brothers John and Mike, and his beloved dog Moose. Thomas Christian Lehman passed away unexpectedly at his home in Sault Saint Marie, MI on May 24, 2021. He retired in 1995 and settled in Oregon. Private family services were held. A member of the Silent Generation, Tom embodied the values and virtue that defined his era.
